Breaking Stereotypes
Our stereotypes are constantly breaking. This spring I reavelled to England to Manchester, to study ICT here. I have never been abroad before and naturally I did imagine different things about this country, which we were taught at school and at the University in Russia. First, we were told that England is a small country, there isn't much forest but... it is not so. When we were flying (what experience!) we saw much of it. Secondly, they said that Englishmen (and women, of course :)) are very calm and reserved people. But... they are SO emotional!!! It is great, brilliant, magestic!!!I'm happy to be here and to wait for breaking of another stereotype.

Hi! It's me. I want to write one thing, probably it does not deal with stereotypes, but...
It deals with the Englishmen. Several days ago I was in Liverpool and when I asked how to get there or here several people sent me in the wrong way. And they did it deliberately. I do not understand why?
In Russia if a person does not know how to get somewhere he or she just says : "I do not know, sorry". and that's all. :(
